a Swedish, a Spanish and a Bellman

Programs > Solo programs
When I had the idea to make a concert program containing Bellman's melodies, it was not far off to get into the Bellman stories, especially cherished by the children. That the Bellman stories are loved is no wonder - they are perfectly formed with a triplicity, a competition and a surprising ending that makes everyone laugh heartily.

Once upon a time, Bellman, a Dane and a Finn competed to see who could be the longest in a pig house. The Dane went in first and then came out after 1 minute:
– The pig farts the pig farts!
Then it was the Finn's turn. After 3 minutes the pimple came out:
– The pig farts, the pig farts!
Now it was Bellman's turn, he went in and after 5 minutes the pig came out:
– Bellman farts, Bellman farts!

But the title, e.g. "A German, a Russian and Bellman" is often perceived by children as a list of characteristics. Consequently, it will then be called: "A German, a Russian and a Bellman". It has become an accepted expression, as can be seen if you google the matter. Personally, I think it's a bit cute, so that's why this program got its name. However, the nationalities were set according to the domicile of the composers. So the Swede, that's me - the Spanish is two: Sor and Granados - and last but not least Bellman who was often not Bellman but Roman, Kraus, Agrell or some other contemporary composer of popular melodies.
